A Gym for Your ‘Best Third’

The science is clear.

If we make some changes with our unhealthy habits and start doing the right things with exercise and diet, we can become biologically younger. Along with better physical and mental health, we will feel more energetic and optimistic for the future.

Chris Crowley in his book Younger Next Year writes about how good life can be for those 50 and older in their “Next Third”.  He presents graphs demonstrating what can happen if the right choices are made.

Younger Next Year

If someone were to change their habits in their forties or fifties, their health could be redirected from the graph on the left to the graph on the right!

Our gym is all about helping people make this transition: To make the ‘Next Third’ (Crowley) into their Best Third (Fay).

90% of Fay’s Fitness members are over 50. Nearly 70% are over 60.

Our New Mission

In 1993, we coined our mission statement as “Helping Women Succeed with Fitness”. We wanted to be the place where women could come to exercise to get fitter and relieve stress so they could feel better about themselves and care for those around them.

Our gym has evolved. With almost 70% of our membership over 60, we’re more about helping both men and women in their Next Third.

Last Third = Best Third

The last third of your life can absolutely be the ‘Best Third’. It is for Barb and me and many others in the gym. No more financial struggles. No more working for idiots. More time for family and friends.

It can be a charmed life. But if we want it to last with good quality we have to be willing to put the work in.

And as Chris Crowley indicates in his books, extending your good years involves joining a gym and hiring a trainer. These are the two best ways to ensure success.

We take care of ALL of this for you. No need to be anxious about joining THIS gym. We’ll make sure you know what you’re doing and do it in a safe and effective manner. We’ll hang with you until you feel comfortable to be on your own. We’ll show you that the days of killing yourself at the gym are over. Instead, your workouts will leave you energized and feeling good.

Just give us a call. We’ll take it from there.
