Fat Blast FAQs Print E-mail
1. Do I have to be a Fay’s Fitness gym client?
No. If you can find other ways to get the exercise you need, that’s fine. See #3 below.

2. Are there any fees associated with this program?

The 12 week program is $75 for FFI clients and $100 for non-clients.

3. How much exercise do I have to do?

You will need to exercise at least 5 days every week for about an hour. You will need 5 days of cardio exercise, 2-3 of these days being interval training, and 3 days of weight training.

4. Will there be weekly meetings/weigh-ins?

There is an Informational session on January 11th at 6:30 PM at the Candor EMS Building. Please call to sign-up. There will be weekly Fat Blast Sessions on Monday evenings at 6:30 PM starting on Monday, January 18th at the Candor EMS Building. The session will consist of weighing in, some group exercise, and your weekly kick-in-the-pants! Your body weight is confidential, however, your percentage of weight loss will be shared information. This is to hold you accountable.

5. What about diet?

We have a progressive list of things you should and shouldn’t do – “The Do’s and Don’ts of Eating Right”. If you follow the list perfectly, you will essentially be “eating clean”. This may be challenging for many people, so we encourage them to step it up from week to week depending on the results they are getting.

6. What types of competition will there be?

There will be team as well as individual weight loss contests. Additionally, there will be the goal of the TC Fitness Challenges coming in March.

7. Can I do this program while participating in another weight loss program?

Absolutely. The goal of weight loss programs is to lose weight, so the more you participate, the better.

8. Why is this program any different than other weight loss programs?

The program is eclectic in nature, combining all the components of successful weight loss to help you. One difference we have with many programs is our focus on exercise. Another key is that the program is progressive - if things aren’t working, you’ll need to step it up, keeping in mind your short-term goals.

You’ll have two of the best trainers in the area helping you succeed, but you’ll have to do your part. You need to commit to the program for 12 weeks. Your level of commitment needs to be at its highest.
